Elevate

Elevate is the official yearbook committee of Davao Christian High School, C.P. Garcia Campus. The group produces the annual documentation of the roster of the school board, faculty and staff, and monthly school activities. The yearbook is prepared by the student staff under the supervision of a moderator. All solicitations and disbursement of funds must be coordinated with the school cashier.

The organization aims to:

  • Train student staff/members in organizing files and documents pertaining to school events and school data;
  • Train student staff/members in basic layout and concept designing;
  • Collect documents (photographs) of every monthly activity; and
  • Publish the school’s official yearbook at the end of every school year.

QUALIFICATIONS
To qualify as an editor-in-chief, a student should:

  • Be in Grade 9 or 10;
  • Have undergone examination as the basis of selection by the moderator;
  • Not run for office in any other club or school organization if elected into office (although he/she may serve as a class officer);
  • Have no grade below 80 in any subject throughout his/her tenure; and
  • Have residency of at least one (1) school year in Davao Christian High School immediately prior to the start of the term of office.

To qualify as a staffer, a student should:

  • Be a Junior High School student;
  • Have undergone examination/skill assessment as the basis of selection by the moderator;
  • Have no failing grades in any subject throughout his/her tenure.
